We held the 9th private operating session at Kawasaki Citizen's hall in Kanagawa prefecture on Feb. 13(Sun.), 2005.
Having been tired after holding some events from summer through autumn last year,we had this operating session after a long interval. We secured a workshop and did various kinds of works in addition to operating T-Trak.
We discussed how we could make use of three "T-shaped" modules brought for the first time in the session. We set up a big dog-born shaped oval as a whole. On top of that, we tried arranging a dog-bone oval without loop modules and a small oval connected with a big oval.
Smooth running was observed in a point-to-point module arrangement with wye turnouts and automatic shuttle operation device. It is a simple circuitry with selective turnouts. When a train reaches one end, the turnout switches automatically and so does the train direction.
Though unfinished, HO gauge modular layouts were brought in the session. They are thin and light-weight with a metal frame, using UniTrack for connection. The curve was rather sharp but various trams were running smoothly.
Furthermore, 3.5 inch gauge battery drive locomotive(JNR EB10 type) and a trailer for ride were brought with over 10 meters of straight tracks. The locomotive was said to be made earlier and now in repair for events, but no problem occured as for running and we enjoyed riding it.
We assembled a 4-track oval for N scale ordinary trains with Tomix tracks. Combined with Kato UniTrack double-track oval with viaducts, we had 6 "endless" tracks in total and enjoyed running trains. Also appeared a pike layout with snow scene for B-train Shorty(Toy train).

Many newly-built T-Trak modules and vehicles appeared in the session. Some of them were unfinished but elaborately built. We are looking forward their completion.
As "The bus collection volume No.5" was just released then, the members were eager to swap with each other (because this product is sold as a "blind package").
We also discussed the content of the next session due in "Golden week" in May. From now on, volunteers are to talk about arrangements of modules and some other plans.
