 This exhibition operation was done in order to support "Promotion of Kawasaki City streetcar planning" proposed by the NPO corporation "Workshop of traffic business" which attended the event. In addition to the explanation of the LRT plan by photograph panels and by mouth, we tried to attract more attention with a 3-D movable object or T-Trak.
Our T-Trak attracted the most among all various displays shown that day, especially very popular among children, and was surrounded by spectators all the time.
It was for the first time that we performed T-Trak exhibition operation aimed at those who are not enthusiasts of model railroad. Having attracted so much attention, we are confident to a degree.
We are thinking positively of the participation next time and in after years. We also have come up with an idea of making a T-Trak module of the prospective model of Kawasaki LRT.
Kawasaki municipal streetcar type 500 (model: Atsushi Kumata), which is a repainted model of Toden, also appeared.
