We performed an open opearation of T-trak at the JAM (Japan Association of Model Railroad) Convention held at Tokyo Big Sight West 3 Hall from August 20 (Fri.) through 22 (Sun.), 2004.
Since we called for the participation from an early stage, we could hold a large exhibition with about 50 participants and 100 modules. Due to the restriction of the space given, we had a hard time arranging the modules, ending up in two-layered circles. Finally, we had to abandon part of a plan, but we thought it was a good exhibition as a whole.
As the modules displayed varies on each of the days, we assembled circles for each day instead of forming a large circle. We had three circles displayed through the convention, in one of which we collected modules with segregated tracks and a big yard in order to run mainline and high-floor vehicles.
Of the modules displayed, half of them were new works and the rest old ones. The degree of completion seemed quite high and it was spectacular that various kinds of cars were running one after another on elaborate landscapes. Some modules even attracted attention with gimmicks.

To improve the appearance, we made use of simply-designed panels, waist paper, newly-introduced spotlights and notice boards with illustrations. Although the preparation was delayed, a flyer introducing T-TRAK NETWORK was also distributed.
Also performed were some presentations by the artists about modules and cars, lectures of how to make a module, live performance such as a craft lecture of "mini scene in a frame" and panel exhibition, attracting much attention.
Many kinds of cars have gathered including ones modified and full-scratch made. We divied time for theme operation with announcments about the cars running. Concerning Toden -Tokyo Metropolitan Streetcars-, almost every type after the war has shown up on the depot module, making a spectacular view. Just-released candy toy Hanshin Kokudo Line "Golden Fish" appeared as early as we expected.

The "Camera car" had a more stable quality of picture and gave us a fine view with little noise or cutoff of wave. We are also paying much attention to a N-scale camera car, which is supposed to be released next spring, exhibited by a commercial company at the convention.
Other than T-TRAK NETWORK, T-trak modules were exhibited at two clubs named "Yuidensha", "JMLC"(Japan Module Layout Club). Both of them had splendid modules, making the event gorgeous.
Furthermore, at companies' boothes, new tram-related products, new releases of structures and accessories and mock displays for the next release attracted attention. Especially conspicuous were street-section road kits for radius 100mm, 1/150 scale truck models and Modemo's Eoden (Enoshima Electric Railway) type 300.
